From Fort Myers Airport (RSW), the easiest way to get to the conference venue on Sanibel Island, Florida, is via car, taxi or shuttle. The RSW website (flylcpa.com/AccessibilityServices) details accessibility in the airports and transportation. Plan on a travel time of 45-60 minutes from the airport to the conference hotel, Sundial Beach Resort & Spa. There are no direct transit solutions or buses from the airport, but good options include:
- Car rental - Most national, state, and regional rental car companies operate out of the airport (RSW) a short distance from the main terminal (incl. ADA counters). The Sanibel causeway has a $6 toll for island-bound traffic. All on-site rental agencies has an ADA counter and vehicles are accessible via elevator.
- Taxi - MBA (mbaairport.com) is the sole taxi provider for RSW. They currently have two ADA lift-equipped vehicles. Please contact MBA at 239-225-0428 in advance of your arrival time to ensure they are aware of and can meet your accessibility needs. The fixed standard rate for one-way taxi service to the Sundial is ~$60 for 1-3 passengers. (The conference hotel is in zone 6 on the fare chart: flylcpa.com/taxirates )
- Shuttle - There are many small shuttle service operators (flylcpa.com/othertrans) that include Sanibel in their service area. Many Group participants have been particularly pleased with Select Transportation over the years (flselecttrans.com).

Student volunteers might also be responsible for helping attendees with disabilities, eg wheelchairs.
